The Ardmore City Commission will have an extra two weeks before their next public meeting after cold weather cancelled their Tuesday meeting this week.
City Clerk Lori Linney said that none of the agenda items from the scheduled Feb. 18 meeting were time sensitive and would be pushed back to the commission’s March 3 meeting.
Among items on the commission’s agenda were awarding bids for work at the Ardmore Public Library and the Michelin Road bridge rehab project. The commission was also expected to vote on right-of-way purchases for the Market Street project and setting speed limits along US Highway 70 near Interstate 35.
The Ardmore City Commission meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. This week’s public meeting was scheduled for Tuesday because of the President’s Day holiday but cancelled that morning due to weather forecasts.
